What does a papaya tree look like (description of appearance of papaya tree)

When Xiaohua has nothing to do, she makes her own sago. Its main ingredients are papaya, grapes and various fruits. However, papayas are not bought at the fruit shop, but grown by oneself. In fact, Xiaohua prefers papaya plants, which are highly ornamental when they grow vigorously. Place a pot in a suitable place at home. During the fruiting season, you will not only be able to eat delicious fruits, but also have a faint fruit fragrance.

The papayas we buy in the fruit store are grown from the branches of perennial trees that have been carefully cultivated. This kind of plant is obviously not suitable for planting at home. Of course, there are also papaya trees in the form of small plants used as potted ornamental plants.

Xiaohua feels that the papaya plant looks like a mixture of many kinds of plants, and they are similar in many aspects. For example, although the branches of papaya are rough at the base, they are more severely bent at the top, just like a peach tree in spring.

In March and April every year, many leaves of different sizes grow on the branches. The overall shape of the leaves is oval, and the distance between these leaves is relatively equal. But I seem to have seen this kind of leaves somewhere, oh, by the way! It is similar to the leaves of cherry blossoms.

Its branches and leaves are just one of its features. Of course, the most interesting thing is its flowers. In May and June, most papaya trees are already covered with flower buds. Before they are fully in full bloom, they look like a lot of pink balls growing on the fruit trees. After being exposed to the sun for half a month, these little balls gradually bloomed. When it first grows, the color of the flowers is bright red, and in the later stages of flowering, the color of the flowers changes to pale pink. These flowers grow in groups and look like plum blossoms.

Papaya trees have the same growth habits as most fruit trees. They like to grow in a warm environment. If they are supplemented with water and nutrients, they will grow more vigorously.

April and May every year are the critical periods for fertilization. This step determines whether papayas can bear a lot of fruits in the future. The fertilizers used by fruit trees are different from those used by flower plants. They mainly add nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers. When using fertilizers, I mainly use organic fertilizers made by myself. Organic fertilizers are mild in nature and avoid burning the plants, which will eventually cause the flower bones to fall off. If you use chemical fertilizers purchased on the market, be sure to stop fertilizing before flower bones form.

The papaya tree’s love for sunlight does not always end. In the early stages of its growth, sufficient light time will allow its leaves to fully photosynthesize, and the transformation of nutrients will be beneficial to its leaves and The nutrients absorbed by the flowers. When the flowers fade and before the fruit grows, it is best to put the papaya tree in a cool place, otherwise too strong light will cause the fruit to rot.
