The method is as follows:
1. Wash the Ganoderma lucidum and break it into pieces, wash the ribs, and blanch them with water to remove the fishy smell.
2. Put the Ganoderma lucidum and the ribs into the casserole together, and add some aniseed, ginger slices, and red dates. Do not add too much else to avoid taking away the medicinal properties of the Ganoderma lucidum.
3. Bring to a simmer, simmer slowly over low heat, and turn off the heat after about half an hour.
