HACCP food safety management system certification

1. What is HACCP?

HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is the abbreviation of English letters "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point", and it is the most advanced management method to control food safety in the food industry at present. Its concept was first put forward in the United States. It was first applied to provide safe space food, and then it was gradually adopted by aquatic products, meat and poultry products, fruit and vegetable juice products and other industries, and gradually extended to all food processing industries. At present, it has been adopted by the United States, the European Union, Japan, Canada and other countries, and has been recognized by many international organizations such as the United Nations. For example, the US FDA announced that from June 5, 2002 to1October 22, all fruit and vegetable juice products entering the US market must be managed by HACCP, otherwise their products will not be allowed to enter the US market. At present, the internationally recognized HACCP management system includes the following seven basic principles:

1) hazard analysis

2) Determine the key control points

3) Establish key restrictions

4) Monitoring of key control points

5) Corrective measures

6) Verification measures

7) Record keeping program

2. Why should HACCP be implemented?

With the development of human civilization and the improvement of living standards, as well as the further opening of foreign markets after China's entry into WTO, the public has paid more and more attention to food safety, and governments in various countries have become more and more strict with food in order to protect people's lives, health and safety. As a preventive system, HACCP system can minimize the occurrence of various security risks and protect the safety of consumers to the greatest extent. At present, the United States, Japan, Canada, the European Union and many other countries or international organizations have regarded HACCP certification as one of the necessary conditions for foreign enterprises to enter the country's market.

3. Benefits of implementing HACCP

1) Establish a standardized, orderly and scientific documented safety management system, and change the safety and quality control of enterprise products from the final inspection of products to the preventive control of the whole production process, greatly reducing the safety risks of enterprises, thus reducing costs and improving the management efficiency of enterprises.

2) Improve the visibility of enterprises, improve the credibility of service products and enhance market competitiveness.

3) Obtaining HACCP certification is a passport for food and related products to enter the international market and an effective means to eliminate technical barriers in the international market.

4) The intangible assets of the enterprise have been created, and the enterprise has been widely recognized and evaluated.

5) Enjoy more preferential policies from government departments.

4. How to establish HACCP system and obtain certification?

In order to establish HACCP plan quickly and effectively, an organization can apply for consultation and certification to CCIC-HACCP Certification Center filed by CNAB, and provide a copy of business license, production process flow chart, organization chart, factory floor plan, hazard analysis and HACCP plan. After reviewing the application form and signing the contract, the center will go through several processes such as document review, on-site review and issuance of verification report according to the corresponding workflow. Qualified personnel can obtain CCIC-HACCP certification, and relevant CCIC-HACCP certification can be obtained.
