Bring the water to a boil and pour in the appropriate amount of meat-filled dumplings, more than enough to easily stick. Cover the pot with a lid for about 8 minutes, and the dumplings will float up to prove that they are cooked. If the dumplings don't float, it is recommended to add cold water a few more times until the dumplings float.
Note:
1. Boil the dumplings in as much water as possible, and add a pinch of salt to make the dumpling skins more resistant to cooking.
2. Stir the dumplings after the water boils to prevent them from sticking together and breaking or revealing the filling.
3. After pouring in the dumplings, keep the heat on, the water will boil too much and the dumplings will break easily.
4. After the dumplings are cooked, use a strainer to put the dumplings into warm water for a while, and then put them on a plate, so they won't stick together.
