First, tidal insects
Small terrestrial crustaceans of Isopoda, mainly species of the genus Oniscus. Similar to the closely related pill bug, it is sometimes called the wood louse. O. asellus is 18 mm (0.7 inch) long, widely distributed in Europe and introduced to North America. The body is oval, gray, flat and arched on the back, with a wide plate like armor. A pair of elbow-shaped antennae and 7 pairs of feet are common under rocks, damp deciduous layers and basements.
Tide insects, also known as rat women, are also called "watermelon worms" and "tuanzi worms" in the south. They belong to the suborder Tide Insects of Crustacea in the Arthropoda of invertebrates and are close relatives of lobsters. There are many kinds of tide insects, most of which are oval in shape, with a body length of 9-15 mm, and their dorsal abdomen is very flat, which is taupe and grayish blue. It can often curl into a ball, and it is a herbivorous terrestrial group. The mouthparts are chewing mouthparts, the only crustacean that is completely adapted to land life. They are distributed from the seaside to the highland at an altitude of about 5000 meters.
The first antenna is short, and the last 7 pairs of chest limbs become walking feet. However, they all need to live in damp, warm and sheltered places, and they have negative phototaxis. Unlike insects and spiders, which are highly adapted to life on land, they are distributed in most areas of our country. In the field, they mainly harm cucumbers, tomatoes, rape, etc. The common species are representative animals such as Tididae, mouse gynecology and coccidian gynecology.
Second, cockroaches
Cockroaches, commonly known as cockroaches, are common medical insects, belonging to Arthropoda, Insecta and Blattaria.
Among them, only a few dozen species will invade people's homes, and several species will be kept as pets and food for pets. Most of them can only be seen in wild mountains and forests or insect museums. The most common cockroaches at home are Periplaneta americana, Periplaneta australasiae and short-winged Blattella, which are about 5.0 cm (1.97 inches) in length. Small cockroaches are German cockroach (Blattella germanica), Japanese cockroach (Blattella bisignata) and Asian cockroach (Blattella asahinai) with a body length of about 1.5 cm (0.59 in), and cockroaches in tropical areas are generally huge. Domestic cockroaches are generally nocturnal and photophobic, while wild cockroaches vary with species, and their phototaxis is positive and negative.
The body is flat, dark brown and usually of medium size. Small head, can move. Antennas are long and filiform, and compound eyes are developed. The wings are flat, the front wings are leather and the rear wings are membranous, and the front and rear wings are basically the same size, covering the back of the abdomen; Some species have no wings. Not good at flying, can run. Not completely perverted. There are about 6,000 species that lay eggs in the egg sheath, mainly distributed in tropical and subtropical areas, living in the wild or indoors.
