The meat of Spanish mackerel is thick and tender with few thorns. In Yantai and other areas, it is a major feature to use Spanish mackerel as jiaozi. I didn't understand this practice before, but I didn't know until I tasted it. It turns out that Spanish mackerel jiaozi is so delicious that everyone can try it.
The Spanish mackerel we bought in the market were actually caught and not farmed. Because the cost of artificial breeding is too high, the survival rate is low and the breeding conditions are very harsh, no one wants to raise it.
The third kind: silver pomfret
Silver pomfret looks unique in shape, delicious and firm in meat, and less in thorns, which is very suitable for parents to buy back for their children.
This is also a kind of fish that cannot be farmed artificially at present, at least not on the market now. So if we meet this kind of fish in the seafood market, we can eat it with confidence.
