Millet can be steamed together with rice. This steamed rice is called Ermi rice.
The specific method is as follows:
Materials: 1 handful of millet, 1 cup of rice, appropriate amount of water, and a little sesame oil.
1. First, mix the rice and millet together in a basin, wash them with clean water, and wash them three times. It is not advisable to wash them too many times.
2. After washing, pour both rice and millet into the pot, then pour in water, and place your fingers flat in the water without being submerged, as shown in the picture.
3. Then add 3 to 5 drops of sesame oil into the water to make the cooked rice more fragrant.
4. Then put the inner pot into the rice cooker, turn on the rice cooker switch, and then adjust it to the cooking position.
5. After the rice cooker automatically switches to the boiler, it is ready to eat. The cooked rice is as shown in the picture below.
