PE line refers to fishing line made of multi-strand chemical fiber woven and dipped in glue, commonly known as braided line. The advantage of this line is that under the same tension, the diameter of the line is much thinner than that of nylon, and the nylon and PE with the same tension are obviously thinner. Due to the small wind resistance during throwing, the throwing distance will increase accordingly.
Another feature of PE line is that it can transmit the signal to the hand at the moment when the fish bites and pulls. Finally, PE wire is wear-resistant and cost-effective.
Unlike PE, nylon thread is generally single strand, which is just the opposite of PE thread. So this is both an advantage and a disadvantage. Let's talk about the advantages first. The technology of nylon line is very mature, so it is the cheapest of the three fishing lines.
Nylon line has a certain ductility, which is not easy to break when throwing and catching fish, and because of its smooth surface, it is a fishing line with the least wear on the guide ring after long-term use.
However, the shortcomings are also obvious. The advantage of PE wire mentioned above is the disadvantage of nylon wire. For example, if you catch a fish halfway, it will not spread to the fish season in the first time, and because of the thick line diameter, it will have a certain impact on the throwing distance.
