However, due to the influence of processing technology, the shelf life of the first-grade white sugar produced by different manufacturers varies greatly under the same storage conditions. The following problems are easy to occur when sugar is not stored well or for a long time: first, it is wet, melted, pulpy and caked; Second, the color value changes and the color turns yellow; Third, pollution, physical and chemical indicators and health indicators exceeded the standard. Normal storage requirements of sugar: 1. Do a good job in warehousing acceptance and carefully check the variety, quantity, quality and packaging listed in the notice. Different varieties of sugar with different water contents should be stacked separately. Two, equipped with the necessary facilities, strictly abide by the stacking and storage operation specifications. The warehouse shall meet the requirements and be equipped with necessary ventilation and dehumidification facilities. The bottom of the crib should have a moisture-proof pad and layer, and there should be appropriate gaps and passages around the crib. The height of the crib and the number of each crib shall not exceed the regulations. Third, strengthen the inspection and maintenance of warehouses. In order to prevent the stored sugar from melting and deteriorating, it is necessary to strengthen the inspection of the warehouse and determine the moisture of sugar on time, especially from April to September. In summer, the temperature in the warehouse shall not exceed 30 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity shall not exceed 75%. In high temperature, humid and rainy areas, sugar bins or piles should be sealed and treated with moisture absorption if necessary.
