Ten years of life and death are two boundless. Never think, never forget. Thousands of miles away in a lonely grave, there is nowhere to talk about desolation. Even if you don't know when you meet, your face is covered with dust and your temples are like frost.

at night, I dream and suddenly return home. Xiao Xuan window, dressing. Care for each other without words, only tears thousands of lines It is expected that the heartbroken place every year, the moonlit night, short matsuoka.

Translation:

You and I have been dead all our lives, separated for ten years, but we miss each other but are at a loss and can't meet each other. I don't want to miss myself, but it's unforgettable. Your lonely grave is thousands of miles away, and there is no place to tell you the sadness in your heart. Even if I meet you, you won't recognize me, because I've been running around, and my hair is like frost.

I suddenly returned to my hometown in my dream at night, and I saw you dressing in front of the mirror at the small window. You and I look at each other silently, and I don't know where to start with a thousand words. Only silent tears fall thousands of lines. Imagine that the grave hill with small pine trees shining on the bright moon is the place where you miss me year after year and feel heartbroken.

Creation background:

This eulogy was written by Su Shi when he moved to Mizhou (now Zhucheng, Shandong Province) in the eighth year of Xining, Song Shenzong (175). When Su Dongpo was nineteen, he married Wang Fu, who was sixteen. Wang Fu is young and beautiful, and he is very filial. They are deeply in love. Unfortunately, fate was impermanent, and Wang Fu died at the age of 27. This is a great blow to Dongpo, and the pain in his heart and spirit is self-evident. Su Shi said in the Epitaph of His Dead Wife Wang: "Ding Hai, the wife of Su Shi in Zhao County, died in the capital in May of the second year of Zhiping (165). Jiawu in June, funeral in the west of Beijing. At noon in June next year, it will be buried eight steps northwest of the tombs of the first gentleman and the first lady in Kelongli, Anzhen Township, pengshan county, northeast of Yu Mei. " In a calm tone, it is extremely painful. The year of "Yimao" in the inscription refers to the eighth year of Xining (175), when Su Dongpo was appointed as the year of Mizhou Zhizhou, and he was forty years old. On the 2th day of the first month of this year, he dreamed of his beloved wife, Wang, so he wrote this poem "When the sky is full of sound, when the spring is full of tears" (in Chen Shidao) and recited the eulogy through the ages.

Appreciation:

The Dream of Jiangchengzi Yimao on the 2th day of the first month is a mourning poem written by Su Shi, a writer in the Song Dynasty, in memory of his original wife Wang Fu, which shows endless sadness and thoughts. This word is sentimental, and every word is bloody and tearful. The deep thoughts of the Ci writers on their dead wives are realistic; Xiakun described dreams and expressed the poet's persistent affection for his dead wife. The combination of reality and reality sets off the yearning for his dead wife and deepens the sad tone of the whole poem. The whole poem is written in a simple way, and the words are as familiar as words, but the words are carved from the heart, which is natural and profound. It is a well-known masterpiece with its simplicity, euphemistic thinking and endless realms.
