5, big and small caves

Located at the foot of Nanshan Mountain, 40km west of Sanya City, Sanya's Big and Small Cave Heaven was founded in the Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1 187). It is the oldest scenic spot in Hainan Province and the southernmost Taoist cultural tourist attraction in China. Since ancient times, it has been known as "the first scenic spot in Qiongya for 800 years" because of its peculiar and beautiful seascape, mountain scenery, stone scenery and cave scenery, and has now developed into the first batch in China. Sanya's caves have left many famous sites since ancient times.
