1. Turn off the power supply

2. Remove the lampshade

First insert the knife into the gap on the edge of the gusset lamp shade, then pry the gusset lampshade down and move it slowly, and remove the two corners of the lampshade. After prying out part of the lampshade, hold the lampshade with your hands and pull it down to remove the gusset lampshade.

Do not use too much force when removing the lampshade, otherwise it will easily scratch the gusset plate. Different types of gusset lampshades have different removal methods. For example, some lamp panels are fixed with movable clips. Press the button on the frame of the lampshade to remove the lampshade.

3. Remove the lamp

After the lamp cover is removed, you can see the lamp. We first unplug the wire plug at the light tube, then open the buckle of the light tube, and then remove the light tube. If it is an LED light panel, we can remove it by unplugging the wire plug and pulling it down directly.

4. Remove the base

The base of the gusset lamp is usually fixed on the keel through the spring buckles on both sides. Just hold the frame of the base and slowly move the base towards the keel. Pull down to remove the gusset light base.

After removing the base, you can see the ballast and remove the fire and neutral wires connected to the ballast. The copper cores of the live and neutral wires cannot be exposed, and the copper cores of the wires can be wrapped with electrical tape.
