Edible mushrooms are widely distributed throughout the planet and are more abundant in deciduous forested areas.

In the field, roadside, grassland and haystack dung, grass-grown mushrooms, grass mushrooms, portobello mushrooms and so on.
There are more high-temperature solidifying fungi growing in the south; there are more low-temperature solidifying fungi growing in alpine areas and cold areas in the north. The majority of edible mushrooms belong to the class of stramenopiles; very few belong to the class of ascomycetes.
