Mole cricket belongs to Orthoptera, mole cricket family.

1. Adult: the body is fusiform, yellow-brown or black-brown, the head is small, the compound eyes are also very small, the antennae are filamentous and shorter, and the mouthparts are extended to the front. The dorsal plate of the prothorax is ovoid and well developed. There is a pair of well-developed, stout and short prehensile feet suitable for excavation, the forewings are short, reaching only half of the abdomen; the hindwings are flabellate, growing, folded under the forewings.
