annual herb. The taproot is underdeveloped, the lateral root is slender, and the depth of burial is about 4cm. The vines are 2-3m long and have 3-1 branches. Tripartite compound leaves, heart-shaped or rhomboid-ovoid, 7.5-1 cm long and 3-6.5 cm wide; Petiole 6-12 cm long, densely white pilose; Stipules ovoid or lanceolate. Racemes, axillary, with 5-2 flowers, often 2-3 flowers clustered on a node, yellow or light yellow. The pod is 6-12 cm long and .5cm wide, brown, with a beak at the top and 6-1 seeds. The seeds are long cylindrical, beige or red, with white hilum, protruding edges and concave middle (Figure 75).
