Allergic rhinitis can be treated with antihistamines and nasal sprays. Allergic rhinitis refers to a nasal disease that occurs in people with allergies or allergic qualities after exposure to factors that can cause allergies, known as allergens. Patients with allergic rhinitis usually experience sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, itchy nose and other corresponding symptoms. For symptom relief, nasal spray hormones can be used in conjunction with oral antihistamines for treatment, and the combination of the two usually results in better control.
Commonly used nasal spray hormone budesonide nasal spray, mometasone furoate nasal spray, etc., and oral drugs can be used loratadine, cetirizine and other antihistamines. If the combination of the two still fails to control the symptoms better, oral antileukotrienes such as montelukast sodium tablets can also be added for combination therapy. The combination of a nasal spray and two oral anti-allergy medications usually results in better control for most patients with allergic rhinitis.
