Sichuan Cuisine College was founded in 1985, and successively belonged to the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Domestic Trade. In 1998, it was placed in charge of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, and it is the only public ordinary college in China that is named after cooking and specializes in training tourism and catering talents. The school covers an area of 690. 1 mu (otherwise planned land 1 160 mu), including Qingjiang Campus, Beixiangzi Campus and Longquan Campus.
