Pu'er College is an ordinary undergraduate school of higher education in Yunnan Province, founded in 1977 and started enrollment in 1978, with a history of 44 years. The school covers an area of 2,053 acres, 524 acres have been built, with a building area of 235,500 square meters; another 1,529 acres are under further planning and design.
Pu'er College is located in the downtown area of Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, formerly known as Simao Normal Higher and Specialized School, which began to prepare for construction in 1977, was officially enrolled in October 1978, and was upgraded to Pu'er College in March 2012, with a history of 40 years of schooling so far.
The school covers an area of 2024 acres, with a building area of 170,000 square meters and 12,535 full-time students (including 308 international students).
