There are two pronunciations of 澄 which are [chéng ] and [dèng ]
1. Cheng [chéng ] means water is still and clear.
CHENG WINE (淡酒). The water is clear. qingguo (澄廓). Clarify. Clarity. Clarity. The first is to make it clear that you are not a member of a group of people.
Additionally, Jiangyin is called Cheng for short.
