The main producing areas of Chinese salt include Changlu Salt Area, Liaodong Bay Salt Area, Laizhou Bay Salt Area, Huai Salt Producing Area, Sichuan Zigong Well Salt, Qinghai Chi Salt, etc.
1. Changlu Salt Area (Sea Salt)
Hebei, Shandong, Tianjin and other places along the Bohai Sea are one of the most important sea salt producing areas in China. The salt fields here have a long history. The yield is higher. The salt fields in Changlu Salt District are mainly distributed in Leting, Luannan, Tanghai, Hangu, Tanggu, Huanghua, Haixing and other counties. Its production scale (including salt field area, raw salt production capacity and salt industry output value, etc.) accounts for 25% to 35% of the national sea salt.
2. Liaodong Bay Salt Area (Sea Salt)
The Liaodong Bay Salt Area has five major salt fields: Fuzhou Bay, Yingkou, Jinzhou, Jinzhou and Lushun. Their salt field area and raw salt production Its capacity accounts for more than 70% of the Liaoning salt area, and its raw salt output reached 2.057 million tons in 1988.
3. Laizhou Bay Salt Area (Sea Salt)
This area is the main production area of ??sea salt in Shandong Province, including 17 salt fields in Yantai, Weifang, Dongying, and Huimin, with a total area of ????salt fields It covers an area of ??about 400 square kilometers and the production volume of sea salt in 1988 was 2.939 million tons. The Laizhou Bay Salt Area is in an advanced position among domestic salt areas in terms of technical equipment level, product quality and enterprise economic benefits. The comprehensive mechanization level of the main salt fields has reached more than 60%, and the output per unit area is as high as 73 tons/hectare, ranking among all the northern salt areas. The highest yield per unit area in Haiyan District.
4. Huaiyan Salt Production Area (Sea Salt)
It is named after the Huaihe River runs through the Jiangsu Saltworks. Jiangsu Salt Farm is located on the long and narrow coastline from the Xiuzhen River Estuary at the junction of Shandong and Shandong in the north to the Yangtze River Estuary in the south. It spans 13 counties and districts in the four cities of Lianyungang, Yancheng, Huaiyin and Nantong, covering an area of ??653 square kilometers. . The coast of Jiangsu has the most extensive coastal beach in the country, and the climate conditions with four distinct seasons are suitable for sea salt production.
5. Sichuan Zigong Well Salt (Well Salt)
The largest well salt producing area in my country. Near Zigong City in the south-west of Sichuan Province. Zigong area belongs to Fushun County in the east and Rong County in the west. Because both places are rich in well salt, they are called "Furong Salt Fields" in the history of Sichuan salt production. Zigong's raw salt production now accounts for about two-thirds of Sichuan's raw salt production.
6. Qinghai Chi Salt (Pond Salt)
Chi salt production areas are mainly distributed around inland lakes in northwest China, such as Qinghai Lake, Salt Lake and other places. The lakes in these areas have high salt content and are suitable for salt production.
