The treatment of dry cough caused by different reasons is different. Dry cough can usually be seen in acute and chronic pharyngolaryngitis, acute bronchitis, tuberculosis, foreign bodies in the upper respiratory tract, lung cancer, pulmonary interstitial fibrosis, cough variant asthma, postnasal drip syndrome, and early pneumonia, which is related to some patients taking ACEI antihypertensive drugs. There are also some patients with repeated dry cough caused by psychological factors.
If there is dry cough without phlegm, it is recommended to go to the respiratory department of a regular hospital for treatment, so as to avoid blindly taking cough medicine and delaying the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
