Synopsis

In No Seal, rookie trainer Chi receives a reluctant and temperamental Pikachu who doesn't like to go into the Pokeball from Dr. Oki, and Chi leaves his hometown of Makushin to embark on a journey through the Sekido region.

After earning Pikachu's trust, Koji takes his journey seriously to challenge dojos and join the Pokémon League. Joining Chi on his journey are two mentors, Kong and Kasumi.

After attending the Quartz Conference, Chi is commissioned by Dr. Oki to set sail for the Orange Islands to obtain the GS Sphere from Dr. Uchimaki, with Kong staying with Dr. Uchimaki for the time being. During the trip, Chi enters the Orange League, and also meets Pokémon watcher Ken, so he travels with him.

After returning to Makushin Town, Dr. Oki could not understand how to turn the GS Ball on, so he left Koken behind as an assistant and sent Chi, Kasumi, and Kong to the Shingo area to give the GS Ball to Mr. Steel in Hinoki Pi Town. Afterward, they attended the Silver Conference of the Pokémon League - Shingo League.
