1. Introduction to Tang Yulin: Tang Yulin, (1871-May 1937), also known as Tang Dahu. Born in Ye County, Yantai City, Shandong Province, he was born in Fuxin, Liaoning Province. He was a bandit in his early years. After joining the army, he participated in Zhang Xun's restoration activities. After the failure, he returned to the Northeast and gradually became a Fengcian warlord general. In 1928, after the change of banner in Northeast China, he served as the chairman of Jehol Province.
2. In 1931, under the command of Zhang Xueliang, his men participated in the suppression of the Gadamelin Uprising. After the September 18th Incident, the Japanese army attacked Jehol in 1933. Several of Tang Yulin's generals surrendered or fled before any confrontation. Tang Yulin was completely defeated without firing a shot.
