There is a place in Xinjiang where there is no Gobi desert, trees are shaded and fruits are fragrant, as if in the south of the Yangtze River. That's the Ili Valley.

The Ili Valley is 360 kilometers long from east to west. The special geographical location here makes it abundant in rainfall, superior in natural conditions, huge in grassland area and rich in water resources. Yili River, the river with the largest runoff in Xinjiang, also gave birth to the subalpine meadow plant area-Nalati grassland, one of the four grasslands in the world.

Nalati grassland is also one of the top ten scenic spots in Xinjiang, where Kazaks who can sing and dance live, and still retain rich and simple folk customs and rich grassland culture. The steep peaks, deep canyons, lush forests and endless grasslands in Nalati Scenic Area complement each other, forming a unique frontier scenery with its unique natural landscape, long history and culture and rich ethnic customs.

Nalati Grassland Scenic Area is surrounded by mountains on three sides. The Nalati Mountain in the east is as high as 4000 meters above sea level. The top of the mountain is covered with snow all year round, and the central part is rich in vegetation. Tall spruce, fir and birch are layered on top of each other, with obvious geographical boundaries. Rolling meadows and grasslands, criss-crossing streams, blooming mountain flowers and flocks of cattle and sheep. It is "Beautiful air grassland", and it lives up to its reputation.

In Nalati grassland, you must experience the ethnic customs and grassland culture of Kazak people. We chose to live in a tent in Nalati scenic spot. We bring our own tents and sleeping bags and prepare our own dinner. Therefore, in beautiful air grassland, from day to sunset, to the shining stars, from enjoying the enthusiasm of Kazakhs, from riding horses and singing songs to various activities, we can taste milk wine, holding meat, roasting whole sheep and all kinds of delicious fruits.
