Three, brewing method

Upon its introduction, this tea was warmly welcomed throughout China and remains a representative of high-end black tea. Sixth, how to choose Jinjunmei?

1. Look at the dry tea: Jinjunmei tea is picked from a single bud, so if there is a bud and two leaves or a bud and three leaves in the dry tea, then it is likely to be fake products pretending to be Jinjunmei. In addition, the dried tea of Jinjunmei should show a mixture of gold buds and black buds, with the proportion of gold buds around 30%-40%. Most of the so-called Jinjunmei tea on the market are all yellow buds or all black buds then they are not real Jinjunmei.

2. Look at the tea broth: Jinjunmei tea broth shows a bright golden yellow color, very clear and transparent, and there is a distinctive golden circle, so if there is a yellowish-brown or reddish tea broth after brewing, then it is likely to be a fake Jinjunmei. In addition, the transparency of Jinjunmei tea broth should be crystal clear, which is due to the fire work of making Jinjunmei tea. However, the fire work of making counterfeit Jinjunmei is generally unable to meet the standard, therefore, their tea broth usually shows more turbidity and more impurities.

3. Smell the tea aroma: real Jinjunmei tea in the production process did not use the red pot, and did not carry out remaking. The aroma of Yu tea is dominated by floral and fruity aroma and honey aroma without flavors such as caramel aroma or sweet potato aroma. In contrast, in order to enhance the sweetness of the tea, counterfeit Jinjunmei tea leaves may have sugar added and smoked during the production process, and as a result, the flavor of these teas is usually tinged with flavors such as caramel or sweet potato aroma. 4. Look at the place of origin: Jinjunmei is a variant of Zhengshan small species of tea varieties, and therefore and Zhengshan small species, there is only one authentic production area, that is, Wuyishan Tongmuguan. Wuyishan Tongmuguan is the birthplace of black tea, and only the Jinjunmei produced there is the real Jinjunmei.
