Why do walnuts need to be washed with water to peel?
Cleaning the green husk of Wan Wen walnut is divided into three steps: 1, and peeling off large pieces of green husk with a knife; 2. Continue to brush with iron brush; 3. Carefully clean the residue of toothbrush and needle. After the first step, put the walnuts into water, and the second and third parts need to be washed with water for the following reasons: 1. Walnuts are large, so they need to be put into water after peeling off the green skin to avoid turbidity; 2. Brush with water, which is beneficial to remove the residue in the particles; 3. Washing with water is better than any other method (such as peeling bones naturally or artificially, burning green husk with chemicals, etc.). It's hard to imagine how difficult it would be to clean the green husk without water. In the process of cleaning up a batch of walnuts, change the water in time. Sometimes the water is not changed in time, or there are many walnuts, so it is too late to clean them that day, and some have to wait until a few days later. In this case, the cleaning time will be in order. Finally, the cleaned walnut will be soaked in water for a relatively long time (the water in the bucket is actually the solution of green husk), and the peel will be darker, and it will be darker than other walnuts when it is released later. The walnut in the red bucket at the bottom right of the picture has just finished the first step. The next step is to clean it with an iron brush, then put it in another bucket and carefully clean it with a needle and toothbrush.
