Synopsis
The Legend of Shrimp Balls is set in 1947 Hong Kong. Shrimp Balls is the child of a poor family, and his father went to the United States to work as a laborer as a piglet before he was born, while his mother worked hard to bring him up.
Because of his family's poverty and the turmoil of the times, Shrimp Ball dropped out of school early and worked as a street vendor to help his mother support the family. Later, he meets a gangster named Wong Kau Tsai, who takes advantage of him to engage in illegal activities. When Wang Dog Chai is arrested, Shrimp Ball escapes.
Introduced by a boatwoman, Di, Shrimp Ball becomes a fellow under Crocodile Head. Crocodile Head has been engaged in illegal activities, shrimp ball is not clear, desperate to work for him. Later, Shrimp Ball meets Brother Ting, a Hong Kong anti-war self-defense member. Under his introduction, Shrimp Ball joins the Dongjiang Guerrilla Army and grows up to be a strong guerrilla fighter.
