The total length of the line is 308 kilometers. After the completion of Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway passenger dedicated line, a modern rapid passenger transport network will be built in Chengdu-Chongqing area, and a "1 hour traffic circle" will be formed between Chengdu and Chongqing. Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway passenger dedicated line has been put into operation on February 26th, 2005.

The total length of the dedicated line is 308 kilometers, which is nearly 200 kilometers shorter than the 505-kilometer-long Laocheng-Chongqing line, and the length of bridges and tunnels accounts for 66% of the total length of the line. The whole line adopts double-track ballastless track. Chongqing section of Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway officially started on March 22nd, 20 10, and Sichuan section officially started on March 22nd, 20110/0/0. 20 15 was completed and opened to traffic in Chengdu and Chongqing on February 26th.

The main construction contents include 1 station building, 2 bridges and subgrade 1 section. Among them, the platform scale of Longchang North Station is 2 sets of 4 lines, and the station building of Longchang North Station covers an area of 6,000 square meters, with a total investment of165438+69 million yuan.
