Jiao Atractylodes is a processed piece of the medicinal material Atractylodes. When Atractylodes is stir-fried, lightly stir-fried is called Stir-fried Atractylodes, and stir-frying until dark brown is called Jiao Atractylodes.

Different preparations of Atractylodes have different effects. Fried Atractylodes has a strong effect on nourishing qi and strengthening the spleen, while Jiao Atractylodes tends to strengthen the spleen and stop diarrhea; Jiao Atractylodes nourishes qi and strengthens the spleen, and prevents the bitter and cold stomach qi of other drugs.
