I believe many people have heard the saying that "you can't eat hair if you have a wound". But what is the hair, do you understand?
What is hair?
From the perspective of food handed down from the people, hair products are mostly foods with irritating or high protein and fat content, and at the same time, they are particularly easy to induce certain diseases (especially old diseases) or aggravate the diseases that have already occurred.
Western medicine believes that the pathogenic reason of hair is that animal hair contains certain hormones, which can easily cause certain hyperfunctions or metabolic disorders in the human body.
What are the foods that belong to hair?
Vegetable hair products: spinach, eggplant, leek, bamboo shoots, pumpkin, lettuce and so on are common, and these hair products are still very nutritious.
Fruit hair products: peaches, ginkgo, mangoes, cherries, lychees, etc., and stimulating foods such as onion, ginger and garlic also belong to hair products.
Hair of meat; As we all know, beef, pork head, donkey meat, mutton and so on are obvious hair products.
Aquatic hair products: carp, silver carp, abalone, etc., and some seaweed products, such as kelp, are also hair products.
Will hair affect wound healing?
Traditional Chinese medicine can't treat diseases without syndrome differentiation, and so can taboos. If you avoid all foods called hair products because you have a certain disease or a wound on your body, it may also affect the patient's physical condition to some extent. For example, patients with poor nutritional status, or patients with large wound area, if protein is not supplemented enough, it will be detrimental to wound healing.
However, if the patient has a febrile constitution, it is recommended to eat less high-energy and high-protein food. In addition, many hair smells are either hot or cold, and they are easy to get angry or sticky and stagnant. For those with wounds, it is recommended to eat flat foods with high protein, such as pork, pigeons, bass, crucian carp and carp, and fruits and vegetables are still flat.
In addition, people with high sensitivity such as children with bronchial asthma should also eat less or not eat spicy, high-calorie or high-protein foods, so as not to aggravate symptoms.
