The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second largest traditional festival in China after the Spring Festival. It falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, which coincides with the half of Sanqiu, hence the name "Mid-Autumn Festival", also called "Mid-Autumn Festival". Because this festival is in autumn and August, it is also called "Autumn Festival", "August Festival" and "August Meeting".
