The Dharma Institute Green and Orange Award is a public service academic selection established by Alibaba Dharma Institute in 2018. The award aims to identify and reward young Chinese scientists aged 35 and below who have made initial achievements in the fields of information technology, semiconductors, and intelligent manufacturing. The winners will receive a prize of 1 million yuan and a full range of R&D resource support from the Dharma Institute. It has been held for many times and has identified more than 60 "Green Orange Scholars" who have achieved milestones in their respective fields.
