Jujube plants of rhamnaceae. There are about 100 species in the whole world, and about 13 species in China. Jujube and Taiwan Province Zizyphus jujuba are two important tree species in fruit tree cultivation.

British name Ber, Indian jujube, cotton jujube.

It is produced in tropical areas such as India, China and Yunnan. There is a prose culture in the south of China, but the variety is poor. The new varieties introduced in recent years have performed well. Yunnan Yuanmou, Baoshan, Guangzhou, Zhanjiang and Zhaoqing, Guangdong all have a small number of introduction and cultivation. In recent years, Taiwan Province Province has bred many new varieties, which have developed rapidly and planted more, mainly in three southern counties. 1993 has reached more than 1450hm2, and the annual fruit output is about 14500t. ..
