What are the hazards of drinking soda?
It is well known that sugar is the culprit of tooth decay. More seriously, it also leads to psychogenic vascular diseases, including heart disease, stroke, cerebral congestion, diabetes, obesity, etc. These diseases together have become the number one killer in modern society (see the previous chapters 12 and 13 for details). Soda contains white sugar, which is especially harmful to the body, because it will be quickly absorbed by the body, which not only causes addiction, but also makes people feel tired, causing physical acidification and reducing the body's resistance to bacteria. Eating too much may also cause cancer, joint problems, mental stress and diabetes. Coke soda is 10% sugar, and a can of ordinary coke (330 ml) contains 13 cubes of sugar. Fifteen percent of ribena is sugar, and a small pot (250 ml) already contains fifteen cubes of sugar. The sugar content of most other sodas is similar. Saccharin, an artificial chemical, has been proved to cause bladder cancer in animals, and the US government stipulates that warning will be harmful to health. According to the test results, the so-called diet soda certainly contains a lot of saccharin, and there are many other sodas. Many children absorb too much saccharin because of drinking soda, which exceeds the international safety level. Caffeine A can of cola contains 40 to 60 micrograms of caffeine, which is similar to a cup of strong tea, while a cup of coffee contains 86 to 99 micrograms. Caffeine is an irritating drug. Excessive absorption can lead to insomnia, heartbeat, sweating, nausea, stomach discomfort, tinnitus and kidney damage (see the previous chapters 12 and 13 for details). Caffeine is addictive, and the harm to health caused by long-term use has not been clearly studied. Tartarine (e102) is a chemical substance that is changed from coal tar (a by-product of coal refining) to turn colorless liquid into orange. It can make children hyperactive, asthma attack and skin rash. Benzoates, the most commonly used preservative in soda, have been proved to cause asthma attacks and skin rashes. (Note 10) People who strive for health, happiness, brains and self-love will know that soda is these things and will stay away from them in the future, right? Moreover, its production, packaging and publicity are very wasteful of energy resources and pollute the environment. In fact, soda is not cheap at all. If you are used to drinking boiled water or homemade drinks, you can save a lot if you are afraid of long-term planning. People who catch up with the trend know how to change their eating habits and avoid misfortune. The following emerging drinks are cheap and beneficial. I am happy to recommend them to you: filter clean water and buy an advanced and effective water filter, and put it at home or office. After you get used to it, you will fall in love with sweet pure water, which is the most beneficial drink for your health. Decaffeinated tea, such as western-style mint tea or mixed flower tea, Chinese-style purple nightshade or ginger tea, Japanese-style wheat tea, Korean ginseng tea, etc., can be drunk immediately. That is, squeezing fruit juice and buying an electric juicer is a small investment to make the whole family healthy, happy, enjoyable and long-lived. Carrot juice, Sydney juice, spinach juice, wheat straw juice and so on will change your life.
