Osmanthus fragrans usually blooms in August and smells fragrant, but the osmanthus fragrans here in Shenzhen are mostly ornamental osmanthus fragrans, often called osmanthus fragrans in four seasons. They often bloom, but they have no fragrance. In fact, the so-called osmanthus honey sold outside is not pure osmanthus honey. It's basically made of osmanthus and honey. In color, it should be the honey yellow of relatively clear and translucent honey. I used to have that sweet-scented osmanthus when I worked in a warehouse. It smells good. The general shelf life is six months. If it is left for a long time, the color will be slightly lighter when the temperature is higher.
