Li Mingzhizhen's Compendium of Materia Medica Introduction II Oysters (Exegesis Collection) quoted another record: "Oysters are born in the East China Sea and are harvested all the time." In the Qing Dynasty, Zhao Yi wrote "Sixty-two Rhymes of Lingnan Products": "Oysters build solid walls, and clams are cheap clams."
