Properties Light yellow powder; slightly fragrant, slightly pungent flavor.
Concoction The above five flavors, crushed into fine powder, sieved, mixed, that is.
Functions Warming yang and transforming qi, inducing dampness and promoting water circulation. It is used for the adverse urination caused by unfavorable bladder qi and internal accumulation of water-dampness, edema and abdominal distension, vomiting and diarrhea, and thirst.
Use and dosage Oral, 6-9g once, twice a day.

Ming Fangxian, "Qixingliangfang":Wu Ling San
Prescription: Zelia (two and a half money), Cinnamon (one or two), Poria cocos (one and a half), Poria pigmentosa (one and a half)
Concoction: finely powdered.
Functions and Indications Heatstroke and thirst, body heat and headache, cholera, vomiting and diarrhea, reddish-colored urine, and mental trance.
Use and Dosage Take two coins of white soup each time.
Remarks One side of the addition of cinnabar, the name of cinnabar Wu Ling San.

Ming Fangxian's "QiXiaoLiangFang": WulingSan

Song Taiping Huimin Hejiaobu Fang:Wuling San
Prescription: 25 taels of zeolian, 15 taels of atractylodes macrocephala, atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cinnamomi (peeled), and Poria cocos (peeled), each. Cinnamon (remove the rough skin) ten taels.
Concoction The above for fine powder.
Functions and Indications Treating typhoid fever, warm-heat disease, not yet resolved, headache and fever, dry mouth and throat, thirst and water, or water into the vomit, or urinate unfavorably, and sweating out of the table to resolve. The person who has more than thirst, it is advisable to take it. It is also used in the treatment of cholera and vomiting, and in the treatment of thirst.
Use and dosage Two coins per serving, hot soup, regardless of the time, served more hot soup, sweating that is cured.

The Treatise on Typhoid Fever: Wu Ling San
Alias Pig Ling San (Taiping Shenghui Fang, Volume 9), Wu Ling Tang (Xuanming Lun Fang, Volume 5).
Prescription: 10g of poria (peeled), 15g of zedoary, 10g of atractylodes macrocephala, 10g of poria, 10g of cinnamon, 7g of cinnamon twigs (peeled)
Method of Preparation: Pound the above five flavors together and mix them into a powder.
Pharmacological effect Diuretic effect of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Society 1962 Academic Discussion Digest Collection 1963: 327-328, will be five Ling San (poria 18 grams, will be 30 grams of diarrhea, Poria 18 grams of cinnamon twigs 12 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala 18 grams) research powder, 50% alcohol percolation into a tincture of 1:1. Functions Diuresis and seepage of dampness, warming yang and transforming qi. It can be used to treat external manifestations, internal stagnation of water-dampness, headache and fever, thirst and desire to drink, or water into the vomiting, urination, water-dampness internal stagnation of oedema, diarrhea, urinary incontinence, as well as cholera, headache, fever, pain in the body, heat and more than the desire to drink, phlegm, palpitations under the umbilicus, spitting saliva and dizziness, or shortness of breath and coughing. It is now used in nephritis, cardiac edema, ascites of liver cirrhosis, urinary retention, acute enteritis, etc., which are caused by internal suspension of water-dampness.
Use and dosage Take 3 grams with white drink three times a day. Drink plenty of warm water.
Remarks In this formula, poria, poria and zedoary seepage and promote dampness, atractylodes strengthens the spleen and dries dampness, and gui zhi resolves the surface of the body and transforms qi. When the five medicines are matched together, the water will move the qi, the surface will be dissolved and the spleen will be strengthened, and the evidence caused by water retention and phlegm will be eliminated by itself.
