1. Raise loaches.
Put a layer of soil at the bottom of the breeding pond or water tank to allow the loaches to dive and inhabit, and keep the water depth at about 50 centimeters. Make compound bait and stir it into blocks for feeding. When breeding loaches, it is not advisable to feed too much animal bait to prevent the loaches from eating too much and making it difficult to digest.
2. Raise carefully.
The feed is bran, snails, silkworm pupae, fish offal, etc. Feed twice a day, from 6 to 7 am and at 1 pm. The daily feeding amount is 7% of the loach's body weight, which can be increased or decreased according to the loach's eating situation. The maximum feeding amount can reach 15% of the fish's body weight. Every 10 days, stir the lower mud once to facilitate the growth of loach's natural bait. After feeding from April to November, loach can gain 8 to 10 times its weight.
3. Daily management.
Water quality management is very important. Remaining bait should be removed every day, and loach eating and activities should be observed frequently. If abnormal phenomena such as frequent intestinal respiration or sudden stoppage of food are found, the water should be changed immediately. Generally, the water should be changed once every 10 days. Appropriate top dressing can be applied after the water change. If a sick loach is found, the dead loach should be fished out in time to prevent the infection of fish diseases. In the later stages of breeding, new water should be added appropriately or loaches that have reached market specifications should be removed to reduce density and promote growth.
