I. Main causes
1. Primary varicocele: it may be related to the defective venous valves in the spermatic cord, backflow of blood; weak connective tissues around it; lack of smooth muscle or elastic fibers in the wall of the vein; and hypoplasia of the levator ani muscle.
2, secondary varicocele:
(1) Abdominal or retroperitoneal tumor, especially renal tumor. In addition to tumor compression, renal vein and inferior vena cava tumor embolism will occur, which is more likely to cause unilateral or bilateral varicocele.
(2) Retroperitoneal ectopic vessels.
(3) Hydronephrosis.
Two, predisposing factors
The predisposing factors of varicocele include overwork, prolonged standing for a long time, etc., as well as abdominal tumors, renal tumors and other diseases, which can also cause proximal venous compression to cause obstruction of reflux, which can lead to the occurrence of the disease.
