Longxu Crisp is a traditional snack with folk characteristics in China. Its appearance is white and dense, and it is as thin as a dragon beard. According to legend, this dessert has been circulated among the people for more than 2,000 years, and people first called it "Silver Silk Sugar". Until Emperor Zhengde once visited the people, he found this food with a hair-like shape and a sweet and crisp taste, and brought it back to the palace and named it "Longxutang", which became a snack for the emperor and was also loved by many subjects.
Spread to yongzheng emperor years, once a banquet was held in Manchu and Han Dynasties to invite officials from the civil and military departments. At this banquet, when the chef made this royal snack on the spot, yongzheng emperor saw that its technique was unique, and the snow-white shredded sugar was like Youlong, fine and fragrant with sugar.
After the snack was made, yongzheng emperor was very happy and immediately awarded the name "Longxusu", which made this snack famous, and it was also the origin of the name "Longxusu".
