The dripping fish is very sad. Drip fish is called "the saddest fish in the world" because of its sad face. However, Dripping Fish does have reason to be depressed. Although they grow in the deep sea that is difficult for human beings to reach, it is not a problem that modern science is so developed.

But the meat quality of dripping fish is not suitable for eating. Just because they live at the same depth as more delicious marine creatures (such as crabs and lobsters), they can't run fast, and dripping fish are often fished out by fishermen.

Appearance characteristics

Water fish has a tadpole-shaped body and a twisted and ugly face. Without the swim bladder, breathe through the gills. The body is gelatinous and its density is lower than that of seawater. It can grow to 12 inch (about 30.5 cm).

Where dripping fish live, it is difficult for fish to work effectively. In order to maintain buoyancy, the water droplet fish is made of a gelatinous substance with a density slightly lower than that of water, which helps it float easily from the bottom of the sea. The slow speed of the dripping fish downstream also makes it unable to escape in time when facing deep-sea fishing.

Muscle deficiency is not a big problem for water droplet fish, because it mainly lives by swallowing edible substances in front of it.

Dropfish hatch in different ways. After laying eggs in shallow water, the female dropfish will lie motionless on the eggs until the young fish hatch.
