Animated movies are always looking for a breakthrough, and this one simply takes on the role of a character that everyone has been crying out for. Remy the mouse has an unusual sense of smell and wants to be a great chef. But his family warns him that he is a mouse and will not be accepted. The ideal is good, but the reality is cruel. Rats are born to be sneaky, and the kitchen becomes a forbidden place for them. After being discovered by a fierce old lady (with a shotgun), Rémy is separated from the pack while on the run, and arrives alone in beautiful Paris, where he discovers his idol, Guste's restaurant, and starts out just stealing food, but can't help himself when he sees the stupid Linguini messing up a pot of soup and makes a delicious bisque (I think there's a saying that says) "One rat spoils the pot of porridge," right? Sweat!) . In order to become a chef, Linguini decides to work with the mouse piece by piece to make a delicious dish.
The cooperation with the rat is quite pleasant, not only the cooking is done well, Lin Guinness also hold a beautiful woman, and later found out that he is the son of Gusto, that is, the legitimate heir, after inheriting the restaurant, Lin Guinness feel that he no longer need Remy, and think that it is stupid to cooperate with a rat. Humans are always that shameless, utilizing everything when it's useful and only realizing how valuable he is when it's lost. Finally, when the legendary strongest food critic arrived, Remy with a large army of rats to do a perfect cuisine, Lin Guini also recognized their own mistakes, and the rat Remy become good friends again.
The story is typically animated, wherever filled with absurd and cozy plot. A human eyes of the four evils, the streets shouting to beat the creature but appeared in the kitchen, made the perfect human can hardly resist cooking, the story can be said to be a bold breakthrough. Whether the audience can accept this "fact", and whether it will leave aftereffects of eating in restaurants in the future is a serious test for this movie, and obviously Pixar has once again accomplished the task brilliantly. The characters in the animation are full of color and movement, and it's safe to say that technically, Pixar's kung fu is absolutely spot on, with animation quality guaranteed.
Next is the plot breakthrough. Throughout these eight years, from Toy Story to Finding Nemo to Cars, which one is not seeking a breakthrough? The main character changes again and again, the purpose is to let people see something different, this time there is a mouse, but not shouted, and also won a burst of praise. Most of the story of the animated movie is relatively old-fashioned, always in the funny side of the paragraph sensationalism, the final ending is always perfect, the handsome man is always holding a beautiful woman ...... but there are many people who have seen the film is still struck by the storyline, look at the tears flow, either tears in the eyes. I have no words for this scenario. This movie is indeed a masterpiece, I admit, but one of the conditions is that I myself love CG, so I love it, but I don't feel the tears should flow. Maybe we like different styles, I love "The Incredibles", so I'm not a big fan of this kind of warm scenes.
The theme of the film has always been centered around: Everyone Can Cook. This theme tells the audience that everyone can make delicious food, regardless of poverty, and at the same time, suggests that everyone can have a dream, as long as the goal is to work hard, it will be realized one day, if you don't believe me, you can take a look at the mouse in the film! But I typed "?!" in the title because I was depressed. Because I was depressed that mice are considered Everyone? That's why I typed "!" So I'm "!". Oh, I'm just kidding.
It has been said that standing at the top and condescending will have a feeling of loneliness, proud of the group is not a very cool thing, so now the animated movie will be endless, each show their skills. It's not hard to realize that animation always crashes these days. Undersea theme "under the sea" on "sharks", talking about insects "bugs" on "small ants", monster class "Shrek" on "Monsters Inc.", starring rats "Rat Country Wanderer" on "cooking" ......, DreamWorks seems to send down hard to go against Pixar. But this is not a good thing for the audience, at least we can see every year good-looking animated movies, and the quality is very high, and the cost is correspondingly low, do not have to spend a lot of money to invite the big players, there is no money-burning stunts, and now the animated film has become a kind of film companies do not lose a hundred favorable money-making tool.
