First, Maimendong Decoction (deficiency heat): fire goes against the upper qi, and the throat is unfavorable. If it stops the lower qi, Maimendong Decoction is the main one (dry cough, no phlegm, heat).
The main symptom is that you can't speak, your throat is bad, and you can treat that dry cough without phlegm and aphonia, that is, there is no sound. Mai Men Dong Tang mainly removes heat and phlegm. Its prescription: Ophiopogon japonicus, ginseng, licorice, Pinellia ternata, stem rice and jujube. If there is white phlegm and green phlegm in that cough, we can use licorice dried ginger soup to treat lung cold. Then this cough is a dry cough, and there is nothing in my throat, which means that there is insufficient body fluid in my lungs and I will lose my voice at the same time. Old people are generally deficient in both qi and blood, and often have a dry cough. This can be done with Maimendong Decoction. That bad throat also includes esophageal cancer, and you can't swallow anything. You can also use Maimendong soup, and the effect is also very good. People with esophageal cancer always feel that something is stuck in their throats, which belongs to internal heat, so they also use Mai Men Dong Tang. There are also coughs that women have during pregnancy, and Mai Men Dong Tang can also be used. So all we have to do is watch that lady come in with a big belly and cough, and we can prescribe it for her. Just give her Maimendong soup. This principle is because most pregnant women are hot in the interior. If she is cold in the interior, she will not get pregnant at all. If she is cold in the interior, she will not get pregnant for two or three months, or she will leak out. Therefore, it can be judged that she must have a cough due to fever, so Mai Men Dong Tang is fine, as well as TB mentioned by western medicine, which is also the syndrome of excessive internal heat. In the past, the patient said that he was dying of tuberculosis, and Mai Men Dong Tang can also be saved. Therefore, Mai Men Dong Tang is the best prescription for treating tuberculosis, with symptoms of dry cough, excessive internal heat, yellow tongue and swallowing that thing. Of course, it doesn't matter if you eat it four times.
Two, tingle jujube Xiefei decoction, this is a real heat disease, that is, the lungs have partially suppurated, that is, lung abscess, (breathing and not lying down)
When it comes to excess heat, it is like purulent lung, which is lung abscess. This is excess heat syndrome. The judgment of excess heat can be based on the patient's tongue. If the tongue is yellow and accompanied by thirst, then this is excess heat, which means that something in it is suppurated, and the patient is breathless and can't lie down. That is, this patient is so breathless that he can't lie flat. Then this tongue has a yellow coating and numerous pulses, so it can be judged that it is really hot, and you can use the tingle jujube xiefei decoction. For this soup, prickly heat usually costs five yuan, about ten red dates, prickly heat should be fried, three bowls of water should be used to cook two bowls, and one bowl can be cooked.
Third, there is also a prescription for excess heat: Qianjin Weijing Decoction (coughing and wheezing, but sleeping on your back).
Qianjin Weijing Decoction prescription: reed stem, wax gourd kernel, peach kernel and coix seed. The coix seed here can be used in large doses. This coix seed is quite delicious. Coix seed can remove dampness, while others can promote blood circulation to remove stasis, (reed stem, wax gourd seed) to remove phlegm, and reduce qi to remove phlegm. What about this prescription? It is also used for excess heat. Generally speaking, when a patient comes, as soon as you feel his pulse is numerous and his tongue is yellow, you can use Qianjin Reed Stem Decoction. Then what's the difference between this tingle jujube Xiefei decoction and Qianjin Weijing decoction? It depends on whether the patient can lie down and sleep. If he can't lie down, his condition will be more serious, so he will use prickly heat. Then if he can sleep on his back, he doesn't need to use prickly heat, because prickly heat is very strong, so he can use reed stem soup. For example, a patient coughs and breathes badly, but you ask him, "Can you lie down and sleep?" "yes." Just Qianjin reed stem soup. If you can't lie down and sleep, it's too late for the reed stem soup. Oh, hurry up and use the tingle jujube Xiefei soup, because some of it has festered. So use this prescription quickly at this time.
Fourth, the platycodon grandiflorum licorice soup (not hot but cold, spitting white phlegm like rice porridge) has developed into a very serious carbuncle.
Cough with full chest, chills, rapid pulse, dry throat, no thirst, turbid saliva and foul smell, and long-term pus vomiting like rice porridge are lung abscess, and orange stalk soup is the main cause. I haven't had time to use tingli jujube Xiefei decoction, and it has turned into pus. "Cough makes your chest full, which makes you feel cold." When you are suppurated, instead of being hot, it makes you feel cold. Why? Because you are suppurated, yang will be weak, and when yang deficiency is weak, the patient will feel cold instead. As a result, you felt his pulse very quickly, knowing that it was purulent, but the patient didn't tell you that it was hot. He said that he felt cold, and his chest was the place where all yang met. The patient's throat was very dry, but he wasn't thirsty, because the yang deficiency was gone. At this time, he often vomited ... The spit was very smelly, and the pus was like rice porridge. This was purulent in the lungs, and the orange stem soup was the main one. You can use this prescription when you see the patient spit out phlegm like porridge. There are only two medicines in the prescription, one or two (Platycodon grandiflorum) and two or two (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch). Take three bowls of water and boil them into one bowl. Oh, take them at different temperatures. If you eat them, you will vomit purulent blood. This purulent blood is caused by Platycodon grandiflorum. Clear this purulent blood. Then licorice goes down to detoxify and increase the body fluid in the stomach. This disease is all a symptom of excess heat. If the patient is not cured at this time, lung cancer will turn behind, like someone's vomit is completely white and transparent like water, and there are many bubbles on it, like rice porridge. This is lung cancer, which is very serious.
Five, Yuemaitang (cough, sweating and fever Yuemaitang disease)
"Cough up the qi", cough, shortness of breath, this is because there is pressure in the chest, because the lungs are inflated in that place, and the person breathes, and the eyes are out of shape. If the pulse is large, the Yuemaitang is added with Pinellia, and the Yuemaitang is added with Pinellia. Pinellia ternata can remove phlegm. Yuemaidservant is ephedra, gypsum, ginger, roasted licorice and red dates. When we were using Yuemaitang, the patient came to tell you that I had a cough and a fever. Then you ask him, "Are you sweating?" "Sweating", cough, fever and sweating, then Yuemaitang. The ephedra in it can stop sweating. Yuebi soup is used when the patient is sweating. If there is sweating, fever and no cough, it is Guizhi soup. Then he is sweating and coughing, which is Yuemaitang. Some people use Yuemaitang when they have emphysema, especially those who smoke or quit smoking.
Sixth, Xiaoqinglong Decoction (cold on the outside and white on the tongue)
There is also a lung distension, this emphysema, "cough up the air, fidgety and wheezing, pulse floating, there is water under the heart." This is water under the heart, it is Xiaoqinglong decoction, Xiaoqinglong is the main ingredient of gypsum soup, Xiaoqinglong puts a plaster in, so the difference between the two is: Xiaoqinglong decoction, we will use Xiaoqinglong decoction only when the patient sees that there is exterior cold and interior cold, so what about exterior cold? Feel his pulse quickly. "Are you thirsty?" "Not thirsty", take out your tongue and have a look. It's white, right? "Are you sweating?" "No sweat." He just told us it was a little dragon, right? What about this Yuemaitang? The Yuemaitang mentioned above is sweaty and hot inside. Oh, the phlegm is yellow. This is the difference between the two. That's all I have learned today. There are so many prescriptions caused by a cough, which is so complicated! Come on.
On the way of Chinese medicine, I will walk with you.
