Production method
1. Boil sugar: Put sugar and water into a pot and boil. After the sugar dissolves and the water boils, dissolve the starch in the water, filter it into the pot, and stir as you add it. When it becomes a sticky paste, add caramel and mix it. Add sesame oil for about 1 hour. When it is almost ready, add spices (osmanthus, if it is better to use orange cake or fresh orange peel), use a shovel to keep stirring. The entire sugar boiling time is about 2 hours. When the sugar is boiled (sample massecuite is immersed in cold water to cool, and it will break when bumped to indicate maturity), remove it from the fire source.
2. Forming: Spread a layer of sesame seeds on the case, pour the sugarpaste on top, and sprinkle another layer of sesame seeds on top of the sugarpaste. When the temperature drops slightly and it has a certain hardness, use Hammer to flatten. It is about 6 mm thick, then use a knife to cut it into strips about 1.2 cm wide, use three wooden rulers to tighten the sides and top of the candy strip into a rectangle, and then use a knife to cut it crosswise into 2 to 2.5 mm thick candy slices. , which is the finished product.
