Ferula, Umbelliferae. It is a unique medicinal material in Xinjiang. Ferula Sinkiang and Ferula rotundifolia are perennial herbs in Umbelliferae. Ferula Sinkiangensis is 50- 100 cm high, the whole plant is covered with white villi, the roots are hypertrophy, cylindrical or spindle-shaped, sometimes branched, the epidermis is purple-black, smelly and has small yellow flowers. Compared with Ferula rotundifolia, the plant is twice as tall and the stem is erect. Only Xinjiang grows in China. Ferula ferula is spicy and warm, and it has a miraculous effect in attracting fish. Crucian carp, carp, grass carp, bream, herring and silver carp have been unanimously recognized by everyone. Uighur doctors also use it to repel insects, treat vitiligo and traditional methods. Distributed in Central Asia, Iran and Afghanistan.
