From Kunming to Wuding County, it's more than 9 kilometers by the old road, and now it's only 7 to 8 kilometers by expressway, which takes an hour to drive.

If time goes back more than 8 years, there is a graceful woman walking on this road, riding a fine horse, wearing a black hat, a coat, a long skirt, decorative patterns and black shoes. A large crowd of followers followed.

This woman is Na 'an Heqing, the wife of Tusi in Maolian, Wuding. When her husband died, she was just 22 years old, and she was related to Tusi Antu in Guizhou, Tusi Longtou in Zhaotong, Tusi Shatu in Sichuan and Tusi Luo. At that time, Long Yun was the chairman of Yunnan Province, and Na An and Qing often came to Long Yun's home in Kunming to talk about Yi culture. Long Yun introduced Na An and Qing to Ma Xueliang, a The National SouthWest Associated University student who studied Yi culture.

After Ma Xueliang met Na 'an Heqing in Kunming, he decided to follow her to Wuding Wande to investigate Yi classics. They walked from Kunming for three days to Wuding County, and then for three days to the Tusi's residence on the Jinsha River. At that time, Tusi Prefecture was also called Tusi Yamen, and there were plaques of "Zhi Zhou" and "Tusi Zhifu". The layout and defense of Tusi Prefecture were very strict.

Na 'an Heqing is the 16th toast of the 11th generation in Maolian and the last toast in Maolian. Born in the 12th year of Guangxu (1886), she was the daughter of Sima Anzhen of Maolian Tusi family. Her nickname was Qiu Cao, and when she became an adult, she was called An Heqing. At the age of sixteen, she married Na Jingbao, who was 44 years old, and became the sixth wife of Tusi, and the last one to enter Tusi House.

At the age of 22, she gave birth to a daughter named Na Jinyun for Tusi.

Tusi Najingbao eats opium, smokes cigarettes on the couch all day, and never cares about politics. The first few wives are either Han people unfamiliar with Yi affairs or pure women. Only Na Heqing was born in a noble family in Heiyi since childhood and understood what hereditary toast should do. Therefore, the big and small things of the Tusi family are handled by Na An and Qing.

Shortly after Tusi's death, she gave birth to a son named Naweixin. According to the rules of the Tusi family, all affairs are managed by Wang Wanying, the head of the yamen, also known as Sima. Wang Wanying died in 1916. At this time, the reform was only eight years old. With the approval of the governor of Wuding County, Ma Deping Tushe Napei, who had been a tribute student in the late Qing Dynasty, temporarily took charge of all affairs in Wande. In 1922, Na An and Qing, the mother, actually took charge of the attack when the reform reached the age of fourteen.

Wande area is located on the border of Yunnan and Sichuan, with high mountains and deep roads, and is inhabited by Yi and Han people. Since the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, it has been under the rule of Tusi, continuing the serfdom. Tusi not only forced people to pay rent, but also paid tribute and labor; The Tusi yamen has a prison, which supports the servants. In order to compete with the surrounding Tusi for power and interests, they often make friends. Tusi, with his hereditary position, can go to Yuanmou, Luquan and Wuding to arrest and kill people at will, and apportion all the expenses at home on the poor people's heads. In case of weddings, funerals and holidays, he will also send money and husbands to extort money. The toast's wife, Na 'an and Qing, said, "A biped is a monarch's man; Those who fly with two wings are the birds of the monarch; A four-legged walker is the beast of the monarch. "

Na 'an Heqing's Tusi Prefecture is located in Wande, which is more than 1 kilometers away from the county seat and 5 kilometers away from the Jinsha River. On the other side of the river belongs to Huili, there are relatives of the toast, and more importantly, there is a hot spring on the bank of Jiayi River, which is really a good place for Mrs. Toast who stresses hygiene and fashion. So the commander of the earth was sent, and all members in the sphere of influence were asked to pick up tools and build a road three meters wide and fifty kilometers long from Wande to the bank of Jiayi River. Since then, this road leading to the hot springs has often seen the figure of Mrs. Toast.

These color stories happened in the toast's home, which became Jianghu flavor and provided rich imagination for later artists.

Actually, in the eyes of The National SouthWest Associated University student Ma Xueliang, Mrs. Toast is a beautiful and enlightened woman.

The Tusi family had a library full of Yi classics. After the Tusi died, An Heqing didn't know the Yi language, so he had to put a big lock on the library. She knows that those classics are the essence of Yi culture, and she really wants to introduce all the Yi classics to the mainland. So, she gave away the rare books and classical works collected by Tusi House and sold them to Peiping Library through Ma Xueliang's introduction. Besides, the remaining dozens of squares were translated into the Tai Shang Induction Engraving, which was also submitted to the Beiping Library for collection.

Not only that, Mrs. Tusi also sent her son to Nankai Middle School in Tianjin, and after graduation, she went to Kunming Jiangwu School to study martial arts. She used to be the frontier commander of Jinsha River.

After 195, the Tusi Prefecture in Wande became the residence of the township government and the housing for farmers, and some of them became primary schools. Today, 7 years later, the Tusi House, which once occupied an area of more than 1, square meters, only the flower room and guanyin temple are telling the story of the Tusi family.

What people talk about is the road leading to the hot spring and the hot spring pool where Mrs. Toast's body was soaked.
