Is there a table for the table? In the home where the altar is placed, special attention should be paid to the placement of the altar and the relationship between the gods, ancestors and spirits, otherwise it will have a far-reaching impact on the family fortune, so special attention should be paid. So, what are the taboos for the placement of the table?
1, the altar table should not be flushed: both sides of the altar table should not be flushed by doors or roads, whether it is the door, toilet door or kitchen door; Among them, the toilet door and kitchen door have the greatest influence, and there will be the phenomenon that the family is unstable and easy to commit villains.
Solution: add a screen to block the solution.
2, the altar table is not reliable toilet wall: if it is close to the toilet wall behind the altar, it is extremely disrespectful. And it is easy to cause family health problems.
Solution: (1) It is suggested to relocate the altar. If it cannot be relocated, it is suggested to separate another space for solution. (2) On the wall behind the altar, six strings of six emperors' money were placed to dissolve it. The number must be six strings, and it must be six emperors' money (six pieces).
3, the altar table can not be adjacent to the kitchen: if there is a kitchen behind the altar, the fire is too heavy, and there is an image of unstable family luck and gradual retreat.
According to the traditional rules, the number of offerings should be placed like this:
First, there are two kinds of things for the table, one is incense sticks and the other is offerings.
The location is, the offerings are inside, and the incense sticks are outside. This is mainly for the convenience of relatives and friends.
Second, the number of supplies required.
There are requirements for placing offerings, and the logarithmic requirements are stipulated, that is, it should be three or multiples of three. But it cannot be an even number.
For example, if the offerings placed can be one plate, but if there is more than one plate, it must be three plates, six plates and nine plates. The number of offering plates placed cannot be even. I believe in my old life that if it is even, one will die.
Similarly, there are three or nine offerings on the plate, such as snacks and fruits. It cannot be an even number.
Third, burn the incense continuously, and don't put it out during the funeral. The offerings are kept until the end of the funeral, which can only be increased and cannot be replaced.
How to place the items on the table for the Buddha's offering? I have a tantric heritage. My inheritance basically taught us how to decorate the Tantric altar. He said, "The Tantric altar is best in a quiet small room, and it is best to find a place to hide wind and gather gas. The so-called place to hide wind and gather gas is to have two walls as sand hands. One side of the altar cannot have windows or doors, and the placed wall should be solid, with no holes in it and no holes in it. Of course, the Buddha statues in the secret altar are mainly based on their own deities. For example, if you practice the Guanyin method, you can take Guanyin Bodhisattva as the main deity of the secret altar. If you practice the Lotus Watson method, you can give the Buddha statues as the main deity. The Buddha statues can be carved in wood, earth, gold and copper. If they are made of paper, they can also be used. It is also very good to use the sea map of Buddha and Bodhisattva. The worship of some secret altars is slightly different: some people worship incantations (mantra wheels), which is called "Fammandala". Some offer handprints and magic weapons, which are called Samadha mandala. Some people worship the second Buddha statue or King Kong statue, which is called "karma mandala". Some people worship more buddhas and bodhisattvas, and all the pictures of the sea of King Kong. This is called the "Great Mandala". Personally, I think, in terms of worship, we should give priority to our own dharma practice, and on the right, we can worship our own porcelain pictures inherited from the guru. On the left, we can worship the second statue of King Kong protector, which is just three. The number of buddhas and bodhisattvas to be worshipped is better, one, three, five and seven. Classics can be placed on the right side of the altar, while towers can be placed on the left. In terms of offerings, there are five offerings and eight offerings. The five offerings are flowers, incense, lamps, tea and fruits. Eight bowls or cups are used to display the front of the Buddha statue, from right to left. The first bowl contains a conch, the second bowl contains a fruit, the third bowl contains fragrant powder, the fourth bowl contains a candle, the fifth bowl contains three pieces of sandalwood, and the sixth bowl contains five white flowers, if it is in accordance with the Red Sect, five red flowers (both true flowers and plastic flowers). Eight can be used in one row or two rows, with two rows. The first row is for Buddhists and Bodhisattvas, and the last row is for observing changes. Flowers, altar incense and conch are not properly placed. Rice can be placed under the bowl. The offerings that must be changed every day are fruit, water skiing, clear water or boiled water. Other offerings can be changed when you want. In front of Bagong, incense burners and sandalwood burning stoves are placed, and lights are placed on both sides. This is the general situation of the placement of the secret altar. The Tantric guru explained the significance of these eight offerings. The second water represents the water of merit, the flower represents charity, the incense represents abstinence, the lamp represents humiliation, the fragrance at the end represents diligence, the fruit represents meditation, the conch represents wishful thinking, and the incense stands for wisdom. When offering sacrifices, the most important thing is to visualize, to change a row of offerings into one side, and then into a mountain, which is full of ten sides of the universe. Its praise is: Sumeru's four continents and the sun and the moon, turning treasures into offerings to the Buddha, all kinds of solemnity and merits, and wishing all beings to prove Bodhi. After the meditation, chanting and blessing: hum. ……。 As far as I know, if a person wants to be rich in the afterlife, as long as he can install a secret altar, know how to visualize and support, and read the "support mantra", he will be rich in the afterlife. This is the cause and effect of eight offerings, because as long as he has support, he must be rich. Someone asked me, besides these eight offerings, what else do I need to support? This varies from region to region. In the past, the esoteric religion also offered sacrifices to milk, cheese, raw crisp, cooked crisp, soaked, honey and so on. And if we want to show special respect, we can serve honey, milk, cakes, sweets and so on. Sometimes you can offer treasures that you are satisfied with, not just food, but even jewelry that you are satisfied with. The tantric guru attaches great importance to the support of the heart and life, and has provided all his heart and life time to the Buddha and Bodhisattva, which is the most precious support. The guru of Tantric Buddhism offered all his life to all sentient beings, giving up his own enjoyment, enduring all kinds of hardships, making sentient beings feel comfortable in body and mind, removing the distress of all sentient beings, removing the karma of all sentient beings, freeing all sentient beings in the world and quickly proving the fruit of Buddha and Bodhisattva. This is the most extraordinary life support and the greatest heart supply. Those who practice the law of support have made such great achievements, which is the most extraordinary solution of Tantric Buddhism. "siddhattha gotama with Tibetan style can't be said to be the Sakyamuni Buddha of Tantric Buddhism." What is the basis of this statement? Both Tibetan Buddhism and the most important secret method in Tibetan Buddhism are one of the Buddhist teachings. If you think that Buddhism in Tantric Buddhism is not a Buddhist dharma, then this person doesn't understand Tibetan Buddhism at all ... > >
Placement of family tables Some families will place tables at home to worship gods, ancestors or spirits, but we should pay special attention to the placement of tables, otherwise it will have a bad influence on the fortune at home.
First of all, the placement of the table:
1, the table should not be washed by the door: both sides of the table should not be washed by the door or road, whether it is the door, toilet door or kitchen door; Among them, the toilet door and kitchen door have the greatest influence, and there will be the phenomenon that the family is unstable and easy to commit villains.
2, the table is not reliable toilet wall: if the back of the table is close to the toilet wall, it is extremely disrespectful. And it is easy to cause family health problems.
3, the table can not be adjacent to the kitchen: if there is a kitchen behind the table, the fire is too heavy, and there is an image of instability and gradual retreat.
4. The orientation of the altar should not be opposite to that of the house: the opposite orientation of the altar and the house itself is commonly known as the "inverted hall", which has the effect of seriously affecting the family fortune, and the family is not harmonious. In serious cases, there will be a phenomenon of whether there are men or not.
5, the beam can not press the table: if there is a beam above the table, it will produce stress suffocation, family members will have brain disease, mental weakness, and disorder, and family luck has been bad in severe cases, so it must be resolved.
6, behind the table can not be stairs: behind the table is a staircase, which is very common, which will lead to weaker fortune at home and serious money leakage.
Secondly, the items placed at the altar:
1, inferior incense and chemical incense shall not be placed at the altar; It will damage the body and mind and ruin the good news; You'd better customize a better natural fragrance, which is more secure and blessed; It is suggested that a pair of official website copper furnaces without phase must have a propitious fragrance suitable for you.
2, the altar can be placed with mascots, but it can't be placed at will. It can only be blessed for you according to your fortune. This can be set in a copper furnace without phase at the same time.
What needs to be placed on the table? The types of offerings that need to be placed on the table are:
1, food: The first offering is gallus domesticus, or food such as biscuits and fruits.
2, fragrance: natural fragrance is better, do not put inferior fragrance or chemical fragrance; This will only increase the violation of fate and offend the gods; You'd better customize a better natural fragrance, and the blessing is better; It is suggested that you can customize it in official website without phase copper furnace.
3. Flowers: The second offering is flowers. Beautiful flowers should be provided instead of artificial flowers made of plastic and spun silk.
4. Mascot: Some deities, buddhas, dharmas or mascots can be properly placed for blessing; If you need this, you can also customize it at the same time in official website, a copper furnace without phase. This is what you put personally, and it feels very ok.
5. Water: Except for water supply, only one serving is enough for other offerings, but seven cups are needed for water supply.
6, lights: lotus lights or oil lamps can be.
What is the orientation of the Buddha statue in the living room? Try not to put a bedroom. The house is located west to east and is called "Duizhai". The financial position is in the south, northwest and southeast. The Buddha statue is best placed in this financial position, and you can also come and see it if you need a table or a niche to place the Buddha statue.
How to place the offerings to the Bodhisattva? Please ask the Bodhisattva to come home and how to place the offerings to the south.
I told the inquirer about the ritual of worshipping idols in the home in daily life: 1 First of all, we should give priority to quiet rooms, and we should not flush the bathroom, kitchen or back in the dining room or face, so the seats are not clean.
The height is defined by the waist of a person, and it is higher than the waist of a person to show respect. If there are children at home, it should be higher to prevent children from touching it.
The altar should be respectful, and should not be placed on the groceries at will. It is best to have a shrine.
4 The offerings are mainly vegetarian, fruits and water, and it is best not to provide items with meat, including onions, garlic and leeks.
The water should be changed every day, and the changed water should be poured into your own cup, which can be drunk.
It is advisable to have big support on important festivals.
6 The appropriate location is to sit in the room with the north facing south, followed by the east facing west, in the middle, followed by the east or north.
7 Note: You have entered long summer, so don't talk about moving the idol to the southeast, otherwise it will be a big disaster.
Suggestion: It is better to find a Feng Shui gentleman to come back and see.
How to arrange a family Buddhist temple and how to set up a Buddhist temple at home? How to offer Buddha? It is a problem that many beginners will encounter. It's complicated to say, simple to say, respectful from the heart, and everything else can be learned slowly. Setting up a Buddhist temple should be based on the actual situation of one's own family. If someone in the family doesn't believe in Buddhism, then in order to avoid conflicts in the family, the Buddhist temple should not be placed in the middle of the living room (living room) where people move around frequently. You can choose a corner of the room, or a balcony, study room and independent small room, which is mainly quiet, because you have to do your homework there.
When you choose the location of the Buddhist temple, you can design the Buddhist temple yourself according to the area (size) of this location. Since it is a Buddhist temple, the Buddha statue is indispensable. There are Thangka in Tibetan Buddhism and Buddha paintings in Han Buddhism, which can be hung on the walls of Buddhist temples. There is usually a altar in the Buddhist temple. The altar can be customized according to the area of the Buddhist temple, or it can be replaced by an idle table at home.
Buddha statues can be placed on the altar, and a niche can be made for the Buddha statues if possible. Usually, the Buddha statue is placed in the middle of the altar against the wall, with the Bodhisattva statue on both sides and the dharma statue on the side. A scripture should be placed next to the Buddha statue or on the niche, which represents Buddhism. Scriptures should be wrapped in yellow cloth or hada to keep them clean. It is best to put a photo of the conversion to the guru in the Buddhist temple.
Buddhism pays more attention to the opening of the Buddha statue. The significance of opening the Buddha statue has been elaborated in previous blog posts, so I don't need to go into details here. Some Buddha statues in Buddhist friends' homes can't be opened for various reasons after being invited back. In fact, it doesn't matter. If you offer them sincerely, the Buddha will be blessed as well.
The common offerings on the table are: offering cups (Tibetan Buddhism is seven cups or eight cups, representing: flowers, flowers, lights, oil and fruit; Han Buddhism is a three-offering cup, which stands for Buddhist monks), incense sticks (Tibetan Buddhism uses lying incense boxes, while Han Buddhism uses incense burners) and lamps (Tibetan Buddhism uses butter lamps, while Han Buddhism uses incense candles, and now there are lotus-shaped radio lamps to choose from). These are common offerings.
In addition, the lay Buddhist of Tibetan Buddhism can also offer Eight Auspiciouss, Manzapan, Duoma (Gallium), utensils (Jingangling, Vajra, Fa Gu, Muyu, etc.), clean bottles, Aquarius, small stupas, sarira, Ganlu pills, etc. This depends on your own actual situation, just don't climb.
The Buddhist temple should be kept clean at all times, and the altar should be cleaned frequently to avoid dust or incense ashes. Change the water for the cup every day, usually in the morning to supply water, and then remove the water in the evening. When removing the water, wipe the cup clean to avoid leaving water stains. Pay attention to fire prevention when offering incense and lamps, and it is best to provide them when someone is at home.
After the water supply is removed, it can be sprinkled outside the house, gardens and grasslands, and trees and flowers can be irrigated. If there is no condition, it can also be sprinkled in the kitchen pool. I hope that these purified waters blessed by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can benefit the vast number of boundless beings and all beings in the sewers, and I hope that all beings can get temporary happiness and liberation.
In addition to daily water supply, light supply and incense supply, we can also provide flowers, fruits and other foods (dried fruits, cakes, sesame oil, etc.). Flowers, fruits and foods can be provided for one day, two days, three days or even more depending on the situation, and they should be replaced if they are weak. When replacing it, do the following observation: thank the Buddha and Bodhisattva for their prayers and blessings, and pray that the Buddha will add quilt and keep me from the Dharma until nirvana. (Like this, if you have any familiar words or poems, just read them. What is important is that we should have such a heart or wish at this moment, and it is best not to withdraw the offering without any visualisation. If the economic conditions are not plentiful, the water supply will be good every day.
Whether it's doing homework or offering daily lessons, don't treat them as a pressure, but as a good habit. As for the process, some places are not as good as the law, and don't worry that Buddha and Bodhisattva will be unhappy and blame us. There is no such thing. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are the most equal and compassionate. They care for us like mothers care for their children. How can they blame us for a little mistake in the process of offering Buddha? So don't have that kind of ideological pressure and burden, just give it with our piety.
