Corn Steamed Cake

Materials: 100 grams of cornmeal, 100 grams of flour, 40 grams of sugar, 2 grams of baking powder, 4 grams of yeast, a few raisins, a few goji berries, a few jujubes, and the right amount of water.

Practice:

1. Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder and sugar first.

2. Dig a hole in the center and place the dry yeast in the center.

3. Pour in the right amount of water, let the yeast dissolve first, then continue to add water, stirring with chopsticks as you add, so that the flour can fully absorb the water.

4. The flour should be slightly thinner to make a slightly fluid batter.

5. Brush a layer of oil on the inside of a steamer-proof container to make it easier to release the mold.

6. Pour the batter into the center and sprinkle with raisins, goji berries and dates (soften the raisins and goji berries beforehand and dry them, core the dates and cut them into small pieces), cover with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm place to ferment until doubled in size.

7. Remove the plastic wrap, cool water on the steamer, steam over high heat for 30 minutes.

8. Remove from the pot and allow to cool slightly, then unmold and cut into pieces.
