Grey lettuce grows on the edges of fields, wasteland roadsides, and in front of and behind houses. It grows in most parts of our country. People have a long history of eating greige vegetables. There are two types of gray vegetables. The edible leaves and undersides are green with white powder, while the undersides of the leaves are purple and cannot be eaten. Some people have allergic reactions, such as solar dermatitis or skin itching, after eating it, so people with allergies should use it with caution. In addition, red heart leaves with red powdery particles on the top of the stem are more likely to cause reactions, so avoid eating them.
