Malu Grape Theme Park
Malu Grape Theme Park is located in Malu Town, Jiading District. Malu is quite famous for its giant peak grapes. During the grape season in July and August every year, tasting and picking grapes in Malu is the choice of many Shanghai people. In the theme park, not only can you pick, but you can also taste and buy authentic Malu grapes, which is just a one-stop shop to meet the needs of grape lovers.
Experience a different kind of character
The vineyard is relatively large and grows different kinds of grapes, but only the Giant Peak grapes are available for tourists to pick. Instead of visitors picking their own, the staff will cut the bunch you fancy. The grape trellis in the garden is quite large and it is cool to walk under in summer. In the rest area, you can drink the original grape juice, 20 yuan a cup, is a unique experience.
Getting close to nature
In the park, you can not only watch and pick grapes, but there is also an exhibition area where you can learn about the history and classification of grape growing. There is a small animal area where you can feed rabbits and goats, and a small playground. In summer, many parents always bring their children to learn about and get close to nature.
The grapes in the garden are on the high side, with just-picked grapes costing 40 yuan per catty. Buy a ticket to enter the garden, you can get a 20% discount with the ticket. Every summer, this is the main venue for the Grape Festival, which is especially crowded with visitors this time of year, especially on weekends. In fact, there are some vineyards around the park owned by local farmers. The grapes are about a third of the price of the park and are freely available.
